“ The difference between this Grocery Outlet and Auburn or Reno is they have more healthy food. They also put some items for sale at dirt cheap. It's now why I only shop there along with New Moon. Yesterday I got 8 bags of a frozen shrimp type meal. Ingredients are fairly healthy, a huge 14 ounce bag for $1. I saw sprouted bread, a crowd was around it but nice I won't have to spend as much on Ezekiel bread at New Moon now. Anything eaten for months can get old in Taste. The prices here are the best. I only go to New moon for their bread and fresh Kale. Grocery Outlet has the Organic Carrots, Celery, Cucumbers, Summer Squash, Organic garlic & Ginger but not usually organic Kale. The owners are the nicest bunch of folks too, making it more desirable to shop there. Thank you all for your contribution to the community. We can barely afford to live in Truckee, trying to move to Camptonville but will still shop there since I'll always work in Truckee. ”

“ I have shopped here since 2015 and it is an awesome grocery store. The purpose of my review is to contradict the garbage review left by some angry lady in April. She didn't get her way for whatever reason so she thought she'd be some kind of keyboard vigilante and that's just garbage. The employee she mentioned is a sweet, kind man. I've never known him, or any of the other employees there, to not bend over backwards to accommodate requests or just be friendly and efficient every step of the way. To go on a public forum, call someone out by name, and demand they be fired because you have an incoherent request? Pfffft. Whatever, Karen. This is a great store, with great employees. ”

“ Continues to impress! The aisles and shelves are typically packed and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the deals can't be beat. I have a dairy and egg allergy which can make it expensive to find options at other grocery stores but they always have so many options here. With my allergy I eat vegan a lot as well, and the amount of meat alternatives that they have regularly is amazing. A trip that would cost me easily $200 at Walmart comes to about $60 here. ”
“ Always a good place to go. Prices are great on specialty cheeses. They always have an array of items. Just be sure to look at some of the package sizes for the price. The store is clean and organized well. The staff is Always friendly. Keep it up. ”
“ I love this store! +1 star for easy parking +1 star for always having carts +1 star for having hand sanitizer +1 star for super friendly and helpful staff +1 star for awesome deals Total = 5 stars! if I had to find something to complain about, it would be that the majority of the staff don't wear masks, but I always choose the lines where the employee is wearing a mask when I have that option. My only other complaint is that when I use instacart, they are often out of items that instacart says are in stock. That's always kind of a bummer. But if you're looking to lower your grocery bill, this is the place for you. And if you're the kind of person who likes to try new products without paying full price (just in case you don't like them), then this is the place for you too. ”
